Seriously, I don't know what gave me the idea that I could actually find time to blog every night... sigh. Makes me sad really, cuz now I feel like I'm just filling in empty space instead of giving a real detailed full account of the fun we have.
I'll try to recap. Yesterday we went to the Franklin park for craft time with Miss Dickens, she does such creative projects with the kids. I think when my kids are older, I'd love to do what she does, teach some craft classes :) It was a VERY hot sticky day out, but we stayed under the shelter. Miss Dickens had the kids build whatever they wanted out of Popsicle sticks. Jenna made a square with a roof and then a pentagon with some sticks across it. lol Then Lilly made a 3D house with walls, it was pretty cool really, she amazes me with her creativity sometimes. Miss Dickens was impressed, she knows Lilly from substituting for her teacher in Centerville. So every time they finish the project they get "freezy-pops" as the teacher calls it. She also brought chocolate chip cookies! YUM! and she brought beautiful orange flowers (a daisy?) for the parents (like me and my Mother-in-law) who helped each week :) So that was quite thoughtful of her! After that we went to Jaden and Brook's house to swim, got Logan in, he enjoyed it some, but was fussy cuz he needed a nap. Jenna was directing me on racing, so I raced a little bit with the kids, that is always such a workout! Let me say that it was so hot that the water was too warm really. odd huh? Hmm so anyway later we get home we eat leftovers.. yum not.. hehe but we saved money is how I look at it. Then Dad wants to go browse camera bags, ugh. So we go to Best Buy and spend entirely too long. Bags are expensive! So he informs me, that with this new camera we need a new bag, a tripod, a back up battery and a better memory card. Gee this thing is still being expensive! ugh. One thing at a time Shawn, sheesh! He wanted to go to Walmart, but instead we went to McDonald's for a hot fudge sundae for me and kids :) mmm. After that we went home, gave Logan a bath, read and went to bed.
Today, the girl I sit for was late, so we left late to get to Midas for oil change and then find out they are all booked! darn it. So the girls had a free coupon for a windup toy from their library summer reading program, so I took them to go get one, I let Janis borrow ours so she could get one too :) After that we head home, eat lunch, try to give Logan a nap, Jenna is super cranky, she gets a nap too. The bigger girls and I make box cars for our church drive-in movie night. They are still working on them, but I'm quite impressed. (Here is the link on how to make one at home http://www.parenting.com/gallery/how-make-box-car?pnid=137786)
Anyway, after that we went back to the pool for more swimming, Logan enjoyed himself even more, he was Soo cute trying to kick and swim, his little fishing hat on, just want to eat him up :) I held him in there for a good while, while Mam-aw tried to teach Jenna how to swim and boy is Jenna learning! She can swim underwater now, for short time, she's getting there :)
After more swimming, came home and made lasagna (recipe from KraftFoods.com)! mmm. Girls got showered and I got showered, then we ate. Then we didn't do much, Shawn wanted girls in bed early and I was trying Desperately to get Logan to sleep. Don't know what it was but he fought sleep all day today, thinking MAYBE he's teething, there was a lot of drool going on. I eventually got him to go to sleep, then laid him down and he woke up, was hysterical, put him back on the breast and he was out. Then didn't want to jinx it so I sat on the couch for an hour or two with him. Now he's sleeping in his bed. Gave Shawn a hair cut, then got a text from my Mom about her basically starting drama with my eldest sister, Thanks Mom. sigh. When will that ever end? um probably never. Talked to Mom, plans for Kentucky have changed yet again. At this point I really don't want to go, but I want to see my family so I will. Talked to my sister Jessica on the phone, her and I are the closest, I think we finally had our hashing out years ago and Bam we are like best buds. Finally a sister I've always wanted! lol We tell each other how it is and are completely open and honest and NO drama! thank goodness for that! :) So anyway now I am going to go read a chapter out of my Nora Roberts book, who's title I am blanking on.. hmm well she writes so many! haha. I actually picked this book up at a garage sale, so no wonder I don't know the name. Speaking of that.. tomorrow is Garage sale day! :) Yay, wish me luck!

Minnie mouse party/ Hot day!
My niece Addison turned two and had the most amazing Minnie Mouse party I've ever seen. The decorations and details were awesome. Her Mother pulled out all the stops and her wallet! My personal opinion was that it was too much for a two year old. If you go that big, do it for an older child who will appreciate it and tell you years to come how much they loved their party. I was hired as decorator and photographer so honestly did I have fun? Not really it felt really rushed to me, but them I was behind a camera and being bossed around ;) I think my kids had fun and that's what counts. We ended up staying all day at my sister-in-law's house, it was a good time, we had nothing better planned.
The next day was kind of boring. We did eventually make it out to Cox Arboretum to take pics of the kids, which turned out nicely. (I really need to figure out who to upload shots! Lol) but it was sooo hot we were miserable, I came home and took a short nap. The. The in laws came to visit and we ate dinner and the kids and I made s'mores.
Today it was a heat index of 100 degrees so we stayed inside all day. We stepped outside a bit and found it difficult to breathe. I watched Camelot show on Netflix, the kids made beaded bracelets. I ended up napping with Logan, he's snuggly right now :) shawn grilled steaks and his sis stopes by to get her pictures. Pretty much a boring day, which is not what I want to happen. It wasn't safe to take Logan in that kind of heat, plus Shawn gets upset when I am on the go using gas all the time. So I was a good girl. Lol
Hopefully tomorrow brings better adventures :)

The Beginning
Hello!
I am So excited to finally start one of these things! It's been on my "wish I had the time for that sort of thing" list for a long time! :) Now that I am a stay at home Mom, I'm hoping to sneak to my computer to post something every day or at least every week :) OH be prepared to be annoyed with smiley faces, I love to share my smile :)
So I am a graphic designer, wife and Mother of three children. I quit my job last month in order to stay at home and care for my children, especially the newest one. Lillian is 10, Jenna is 4 and Logan is almost 4 months old. I love them all, they say and do the funniest things, I am excited to post those on a more regular basis through here :) I have an amazing husband, whom I met in college, he is also a graphic designer. We've known each other for 8 years and finally got married last year and then of course decided to have a baby, well that's the thing to do right? hahaha. Hopefully it's my last child, three is enough! :)
So I have Millions of things, Ok maybe not millions but lots I want to talk about. Where to begin and how to I organize these postings on here? hmm. I love to talk about the girls, my new baby boy, books, craftiness, party planning, outdoor adventures, new recipes, etc. Hopefully I can fit it all in - so much has happened already!
NEW CAMERA
My husband decided we needed to buy a new camera, a very expensive camera, I have to say this decision kept me up a bit last night. I'm a very money conscientious person and when I don't see a need for a big purchase like that, plus the fact that I don't have a job right now and we have more bills than income, yeah that worries me. He assures me it's the last one we have to buy for a LONG time.. haha yeah right. This decision came about because we need to get photos taken of the baby, but now a days the portrait studios like Walmart, Target, etc are getting WAY too expensive. It's very frustrating. We thought we'd go with a professional photographer, but that was too expensive as well, and figured we could do it ourselves. I enjoy capturing memories, I worry this camera is too advanced for me! lol I guess I will google and learn on it.. haha. Also the memory it will eat up and not to mention lugging around the big thing. If someone wanted me to photograph them with it, I'd have to charge, it's what the professionals use, you know. Anyway we'll see. I was hoping to take it for a spin at a park today with the kids, but it's a bit rainy right now. Maybe later. My girls are giving Lilly's American Girl doll a birthday party today, quite creative aren't they? lol Lilly took some pictures, I will post one soon.
